History rewritten: Week 4 delivers unmatched excitement and engagement

MPL Malaysia Season 15 is setting new benchmarks, with Week 4 shattering group stage viewership records. The electrifying face-off between SRG.OG and Aero Esports captivated 497,877 concurrent viewers, marking a 90% surge from Season 14's peak of 262,061.

This thrilling match, extending over 28 minutes, stands as the longest in the season thus far. Its intensity and high stakes, featuring top-tier teams battling for playoff positions, kept fans riveted.

Overall, Week 4 amassed 1.91 million Hours Watched, nearly doubling the usual weekly average and setting a new league record.

A significant contributor to this surge is the 111% increase in TikTok viewership compared to the same period in Season 14. Additionally, English-language broadcasts experienced notable growth, likely influenced by SRG's partnership with European esports giant OG, expanding the league's international appeal.

With the group stage concluding on May 25, the top six teams are advancing to the playoffs. The leading two will secure spots at the MLBB MidSeason Cup 2025 in Riyadh. Given the current momentum, Season 15 is poised to surpass Season 14's peak viewership of 870,049, potentially setting a new all-time high.
